Support ‘Save Child Beggar’ to Feed Street Kids

What comes to your mind when you think about your childhood?

Yes, that smile when you thought about it…

At least you have a childhood to think about, Good memories to Cherish upon!

Now, think about the street kids and child beggars who have to beg in traffic signals just to keep themselves alive.

Founded in 2015 with a vision to Feed and Educate child beggars and street kids; Save Child Beggar is non-profit which is currently serving 10,000+ street kids and child beggars with free food and education.

SCB with its grass-root initiative aims to bring positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families, and communities.

Started with just 5 street kids at a park above Palika Bazar, Delhi, SCB has now expanded to 12 centres across Delhi-NCR & neighbouring states UP & Bihar.

Daily Feeding Programme

Team SCB is feeding 2000+ kids and daily wage workers every single day during lockdown period.

Some people are not getting proper 2 time meals from the beginning of the pandemic.

Most of them are daily wage workers, Street Kids, Child Beggars who are facing issues for a daily meal.

We at  Save Child Beggar Organization, are stepping forward to help these kinds of people.

Daily we are providing food for more than 2000+ needy souls.

We are trying to provide a proper 2-time meal for them.

As you know the pandemic situation has worsened the situation. We want to continue feeding these street kids and daily wage workers. Please come forward and support our initiative of feeding underprivileged.

From streets towards a better life

Street children need resources to meet their physical and emotional needs. Resources can be either internal and external. Although they might have internal resources, they are usually deprived of external ones. Without such external resources, they may have a hard time learning new skills that would help improve their lives. It may be more difficult for them to develop healthy ideas and practices about sustenance if they do not have the benefit of resources such as street education and informational campaigns. If they have fewer ways of coping with stress, they may fall back in the vicious circle again. Our primary task involves identifying these resources and making them accessible to street children.

Health check-up

The health problems of street children are similar to those of other children, but their problems are more profound because they do not even have access to medical services that are easily available in the community. Street children also have many problems related to substance use, sexual and reproductive health including HIV/AIDS and other STDs.

The most pervasive reasons could be:

Lack of appropriate health facilities. Unaffordability of services due to high cost and elongated treatment period. Hospitals do not assist a child without the presence of a guardian or a legal document.

When street children and the community are enlightened about dreadful issues that affect them, it is easier for them to react positively to these situations. After dissemination of information through counseling, intervention comes as a matter of course. Street children should be provided with information on growth and development, sexual and reproductive health, substance use, prevention of diseases, promotion sanitation and other issues such as their fundamental and legal rights and laws.
