Can we help our fellow humans for their survival?

An eight-year-old boy, a resident of Arrah’s Jawahar Tola’s slum area in Bhojpur district merely 60 km away from the capital of Bihar, allegedly starved to death due to lack of work, and subsequently food, during the current lockdown.

The young boy, Rakesh Musahar, who hailed from the Mahadalit Musahar community, was a ragpicker and sold junk in the market while his father Durga Prasad Musahar was a porter.

After the lockdown was imposed, the father-son duo could not find any work as a result of which there was no ration at home.(Source: The Wire)

Poor people are dying not from COVID-19 but from Hunger.

COVID-19 has affected the poor and the lockdown has taken away their daily wages, the only source through which they could feed their family. Thousands of people who are hungry amidst this lockdown is praying to god that someone blesses them with a one-time meal.

Om Vishranti Charitable Society wants to extend their support during these hard times to help the needy people by distributing food and other basic essentials for their survival. Please help us with your valuable support so that we can feed the needy! We will keep all of you posted with the updates.

How will Om Vishranti Charitable Society utilize the funds?
  • Buying essentials like food grains, masks and distributing them with the people who are affected
  • Distributing the essentials with people who are homeless and have no means to arrange a one-time meal

Do share this campaign with your friends and family so that they can make a difference in the lives of people who are unable to afford a single time meal
